Marcy Axness, PhD, is an early development specialist, parent coach and author of Parenting for Peace: Raising the Next Generation of Peacemakers, a book whose premise is, If we really want to change the world we need to raise a generation who are “wired for peace,” beginning in the womb. The win-win is that a child whose neuro-social development is nurtured in this vibrantly healthy way is a joy to parent, and as an adult has the heart to embrace and exemplify peace, the mind to innovate solutions to social and ecological challenges, and the will to enact them.
Carla Maria García Machado worked for 12 years at IBM as a System Analyst and Project Manager. She then became an Astrologer, a Flower Remedies Specialist and a Reichian Therapist, and subsequently opened a clinic called, Casa do Despertar (House of Awakening). Her life is dedicated to disclosing the relevance of prenatal life for the advent of a healthy, fraternal and spiritually awakened humanity. In 2010, together with six colleagues, she founded the Brazilian National Association for Prenatal Education (ANEP Brasil), which offers training in Prenatal Education.
Jane Evershed was born in the UK, grew up in South Africa and came to live in the US in Minneapolis, MN in 1984. In that same year she won the Minneapolis Metro Transit bus design award after which she launched a career marketing journals, books, large prints and notecards of her art which she marketed across the US and in many other countries for 25 years. During this time she spoke at many universities and colleges, sharing her art and poetry, winning awards and various commissions.
